October 2013: Humpback Whale watching in the San Juan Islands on Sunday October 20th. We will be going on a 5-6 hour tour with Island Adventures, based out of Anacortes. October is the best month to possibly see all four types of San Juan Island whales at once: humpback, minke, gray, and orca. The humpbacks are the stars and coming south after a gluttonous summer up near Alaska. Besides whales, fall is also a great time to see the enormous Steller’s Sea Lions. It will be awesome.
