Pallid Bats
Our vision of natural history is a dynamic discipline where students gain insight into the natural world from personal observations in the wild as well as from experts.  We share an enthusiasm for nature and experiential learning, and are here to keep the art of natural history alive through field observations of organisms in their native environments and mentoring from senior natural historians.
• Hands-on learning through informal lab exercises with experts in their field
• Field trips to areas within northern Washington
• Contributions to the specimen collections at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture
